UPDATE: This is what happens when a culture or society does not value the individual. What is that little girl to the collectivists, just a mouth to feed and worse yet a little girl. This is just a symptom of a much greater problem in places like China where everyone is in effect a slave to the "people." Individualism is viewed as a sin. Fair or Foul? Go Daddy CEO shoots elephant in Africa

I am a little disturbed at the knee jerk reaction some people are having (especially on Twitter) to this story. It was not a horrible thing this man did, it was responsible conservation. IT protects the elephant population, the people living in the area, feeds hundreds of people, and protected crops.

The worse thing is that these same people all upset about this are more than happy to drive to the store and buy meat. I guess it is ok to kill as long as you pay someone else to do it for you. I expect everyone calling for a GoDaddy boycott to do two things ASAP.

1) Become a vegan (no meat at all)
2) Send food to Africa to make up for the food they would not get if you got your way.

If you don't do these two things. Then STFU!
As for me I say good job!
