In this exchange, a young man describes poverty as a "market failure." Friedman, in characteristic fashion, shows otherwise. Though this was recorded around 1979, the exchange is timeless.

The American people overwhelmingly voted for a change in direction in November. If the administration does not like that then they can try to convince these same people that they should support them, but they do not have the authority or right to circumvent the constitutional limits placed upon them PERIOD.
