Quinn moves to tighten Illinois' concealed carry bill with ammo limit, restrictions

"...Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn today amendatorily vetoed his state's newly passed concealed-carry bill to impose tight restrictions on where, what and how people can legally carry, setting up a likely fight with the Legislature. If Quinn's changes stand, Illinoisans will be able to carry just one gun at a time, limited to 10 rounds of ammunition. They won't be allow to carry in bars, nor in any business that doesn't post a sign specifically allowing it. And their guns will have to be completely rather than partially concealed. Quinn, a Democrat, opposes concealed carry, but he and lawmakers are under a court order to approve a system allowing it in the last state that doesn't. Quinn used Illinois' unusual amendatory veto system to make recommended changes to the bill that lawmakers sent him earlier this year..."Read more at STL Today
